Absence makes the heart grow fonder--I hope
I've been MIA for a while now leaving my poor blog
in a rut of sameness. In my defense, the world seems
to have conspired against me in the time department.
Between remodeling, sick kids, my medical problems and
life's other big hiccups, even thinking about writing
seems to be a feat unto itself.
So how do you write when your plate is so full that
Porky Pig would love to be your shadow? Well in my
case I haven't. Big no no. I can hear the disapproving
tones and see the wagging fingers. But others can and do.
They push through the good and the bad to create the
novels of their dreams and if they can do it, well, so
can I. What do I need to make it happen?
Determination and organization.
Okay, Sienna, pull up those boot straps and prepare for
battle. So as a late New Year's resolution I'm going to
take the good, bad, and ugly and wade through the muck and
put fingertips to keyboard.
As Tony Little says, "You can do it!!!" yeah.
And so can you and I.
